Its location was perfect, very close to town centre, a market town in an agricultural area, and the restaurant. The breakfast was incredible and provided with a hot meal cooked to order and toast, for example. Overall the staff was really helpful.

Homely and cute environment with attentive staff.
The restaurant was closed , leaving us without dining options in the hotel. The breakfast provisions were lacking. We had no choice but to consume gluten-free bread that was unpalatable and unappetizing.

missingWrote a review on 28 Octnoise disruption
Noise from the pub disrupted sleep during the annual wheelbarrow race, and there were complaints about weak shower pressure. The gluten-free bread at breakfast left much to be desired, as did the limited choice of soya milk in the rooms.

The Beautiful Double Room was really comfy and well furnished. The staff stocked up on plenty of tea and coffee, great. Enjoyed the cozy vibe of the place, especially since it's in those characterful old stables. On the downside, it was a bit dark and could use better lighting for nighttime reading. Though, I felt relaxed and at home .
